Q: My guitar
with 13 pin synth acces (iGuitar2.13, C-90P.13, etc) has different control
configuration than what is pictured in the brochure. Please
Explain? A: We have produced 3 versions of controls for the 13 pin style guitar that work with Roland type and compatible synths. See history below. Version 1 has all the knobs (see ver 1 picture) and was pictured in our original Custom Shop Brochure. Many people found this cumbersome and intimidating so we created Ver 2.  Version
1.0 Version 2 has
only a synth volume and a 'step up/stepdown' switch. This was a simplified
version and worked great but we introduced three lower priced iGuitar
models we started getting requests to route the regular magnetic pickups
thru the 13 pin cable and for the "synth/magnetic/both" function to switch
between sounds so we added the switch and created ver 2.1 Custom
Shop Version 2.0 Ver 2.1 is the
latest version and mostly what we produce unless we get a special request.
All iGuitar.13 models and Custom Shop.13 models now have this
configuration.
